In Judaism there is the concept of mitzvot, meaning “good deeds”. Mitzvot are acts that god likes. 

By doing a mitzvah you bring a piece of god down to earth in a physical form through you (since you are acting as god would). 

For example, if you were to help a homeless man buy a meal that would be a mitzvah, and you would be bringing a small piece of god down to earth. 

We would like to encourage you to do as many mitzvot as possible as they can to fill the world with a godly and faithful presence.
