Our brand was created by two non-religious Jews who met at the UW-Madison Chabad house. We both found ourselves pursuing becoming more religious and gaining a better understanding of Judaism.
We became good friends and would go on to attend a JLI event for Sinai Scholars in Palm Springs last August. There is where we met some amazing Rabbis and role models who we keep in contact with. Both of us are very into fitness and while we were at this convention we asked ourselves “Why are there no jacked Rabbis?”.
We were tired of the American stereotype that most jews are not physically fit. We saw this notion play out in front of us so we decided something needed to change. This is why EMUNAH was created. It is a clothing brand that urges people to become both physically and spiritually fit. We want to change the culture of Jews in America to become both physical and spiritual warriors like our ancestors.
